Neighbourhood Plan
At the Parish Council meeting on Monday 8th May the council voted unanimously to support the creation of a Neighbourhood plan.
The Finance Committee is to consider and recommend to the Full Council for agreement how suitable financing for the Plan based on the budget provided will be accommodated.

6 week Parish Plan Consultation Period open
South Northants Council has now opened the consultation plan for the deposited Silverstone Parish Plan and Design Statement. 63 organisations have been invited to comment on the plan, including representatives of fevelopers as well as various statutory bodies. Neighbourhood Plan - first legal step taken.
Application for the designation of Silverstone Parish as a Neighbourhood Area has today been delivered by the Clerk to the Parish Council by hand to SNC's Lead Planning Policy Officer at The Forum in Towcester.

Good attendance at Neighbourhood Planning Information Session
The meeting was attended by 30 residents, 7 Councillors, a representative from ACRE and one non villager from Wellingborough.

Parish Council approves amended Parish Plan.
At its meeting on Monday, the Parish Councillors present voted unanimously to support the amended Parish Plan and Village Design Statement, following the support the draft document had received at the exhibition last month. SRA Redevelopment Cost estimated at £2.25M
At the meeting of the Parish Council today, a report was delivered about the proposed refurbishment or replacement of the SRA building.
