Silverstone Industrial Development application rejected
Proposals to expand a small industrial site near Silverstone have been turned down by planners
This week South Northamptonshire refused an outline application for 10 commercial units covering around 3,650msq along with a solar park that would power the businesses, on land next to the Linnell's wood yard off the A413.

Neighbourhood Plan volunteers meet
On Monday, 6th March, 15 volunteers from both the Parish Council and Silverstone Village gathered for the first time as we embark on research for the production of a Neighbourhood Plan.

6 week Parish Plan Consultation Period open
South Northants Council has now opened the consultation plan for the deposited Silverstone Parish Plan and Design Statement. 63 organisations have been invited to comment on the plan, including representatives of fevelopers as well as various statutory bodies. Neighbourhood Plan - first legal step taken.
Application for the designation of Silverstone Parish as a Neighbourhood Area has today been delivered by the Clerk to the Parish Council by hand to SNC's Lead Planning Policy Officer at The Forum in Towcester.

Neighbourhood Plan volunteers sought
At last night's meeting, Silverstone Parish Council voted to set up a working group to take forward the Parish Plan and to develop this into a full Neighbourhood Plan.
