Silverstone Parish Council Launches Community Grant Scheme

Silverstone Parish Council is pleased to announce the launch of its Grant Aid Scheme, designed to support local community groups, charities and non-profit organisations that bring meaningful benefits to Silverstone residents.

This initiative aims to enhance community well-being, sustainability and cohesion by providing financial assistance to eligible projects. The Parish Council has already awarded grants to local initiatives, including 'Silverstone Recreation Association' and this year £5,000 to 'Save Towcester Now'.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from:

• Local community groups and charities,
• Non-profit organisations working for the benefit of Silverstone residents.

Businesses, private individuals, and political organisations are not eligible.

What Projects Are Supported?

We encourage applications that focus on:

- Community sustainability and cohesion

- Leisure and recreational activities

- Infrastructure improvements

- Well-being and quality of life

All applications will be assessed fairly based on their community impact, financial need, feasibility and alignment with parish priorities.

How to Apply

Interested groups should submit a grant application form, available on the Silverstone Parish Council website, along with supporting financial documents.

- Applications will be acknowledged within 10 working days

- Decisions will be made during Parish Council meetings

- Successful applicants will be notified within 10 working days
